Rana is a Senior Director of Product Management within Cisco’s Data Center & Internet Infrastructure group, where she is globally responsible for the Provider Connectivity Network Operating System, Architectures and Automation product portfolio. She leads a high-performing product management organization focused on delivering innovative networking solutions for mass-scale infrastructure customers worldwide. In her current role, she drives product strategy focused on accelerating the industry’s transition toward autonomous networking through AI-driven agentic operations and next-generation AI infrastructure architectures. She leads innovation in routing software designed to deliver simplicity, resiliency, security, and intent-based Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) programmability. A 15-year Cisco veteran, Rana has held leadership roles across Product Management, Sales, Business Development, and Professional Services, bringing a broad cross-functional perspective to product strategy and customer engagement. Prior to Cisco, she built mobile networks at Orange Telecom and contributed to research and development breakthroughs in mobility systems at Sony. Rana holds a Master of Science degree in Communications and Electrical Engineering from University of Stuttgart, Germany, and is a certified CCIE in Routing and Switching.
